Clearing [[Story Mode#Nightmare difficulty|Nightmare]] is commonly held to be the hardest achievement the game will recgonize, as it is not possible to use continues, and the combination of asymmetric number of stocks and [[turbo mode]] can often cause small mistakes to end runs. Players who have cleared Nightmare are occasionally called '''dreamers'''.
