Chain Trial
Chain Trial is a single-player Score Attack game mode where the player must score points on a series of pre-build boards. Growing is not possible in Chain Trial, and as such the player has limited resources to construct a chain and get as many points as possible for each board. You have 30 seconds for each board; if you run out of time or if you construct a chain longer than a 1-chain, you will move on to the next board.

Score trial ranks require a certain amount of score per board. For the normal board, this is 6,000 points per board. Playing with the mini board will reduce the score requirement to 3,500 points per board. Turbo mode does not affect the requirements at all. There are four different game lengths available: 5, 10, 20, and 30 boards.
