The loop is a chain pattern that is a series of corner chains that form a circular shape.

It is similar in function to the pinwheel in that it is cyclic as long as proper bracing is constructed, and it is fairly compact. Unlike the pinwheel, and because it is constructed using standard corner chains rather than offset ones, a natural corner chain extension can provide this bracing. In addition, the loop most easily accommodates branching via Y-splits and T-splits rather than sandwiches.
